A summery dress from the Marc by Marc Jacobs made a splash at Spring 2011 Fashion Week this year, with many admiring it's modern aesthetic yet clearly 70's inspiration. The flouncy skirt and colorful stripes made it the perfect garment for any number of different occassions, from first date to stroll through the park. When FLOTUS Michelle Obama was seen in the $685 dress back in March, it's coolness was cemented for good. When I was passing by Liz's blog the other day, she had on a beautiful near-replica of the Marc Jacobs dress.
