Better Late Than Never, Part Duece

Day 2: We got up bright and early to take a guided tour of historic Savannah in a trolley car. With the temperature riding into the 90's by 11am, I decided to wear another dress instead of the shorts and tee I had originally planned on.

I like to call it 'Shrek" Green

One thing I found interesting about this tour, and Savannah in general, was the amount of ordinary things included on it. In New York, or even in DC, you wouldn't take a tour of anything except the White House or the Empire State Building.

In Savannah, people's regular, every day homes are included as examples of architecture or buildings with historic merit. It's just a beautiful city that way.
