So Savannah was incredible... it was hotter than blue blazes, but it was amazing. My BF and I rode a bus for an entire day there, and prepared to embark on a week's worth of activities in two days.
Day 1: The first thing we did was pick up my mom's bouqet from a floral shop that smelled like heaven in 300 square feet. It was on this gorgeous block, with rows of weeping willows covered in Spanish moss (which my mom tried to take home until she found out the stuff is poisonous on your skin).
After the flower shop, we went to this antique shop ran by sisters in a huge old house. Every room was crammed with the goods: jewelry, furniture, paintings, books- you name it, they had it.
I wore this brand new dress that I had actually packed to be a contender for the wedding- it was so hot I ended up wearing nothing but the back-up dresses the entire time that I was there!
A stranger told me she LOVED it, and asked me where I bought it... Urban Outfitters sale section for $20! Never fails me.
We were antique-ing for a few hours, then we went sightseeing around downtown Savannah.
We Fix Anything But A Broken Heart
While walking around, me and the BF found this DOPE Army/Navy Surplus store where I picked up this amazing hooded winter jacket for $40. We capped off the evening with hookah and a nice dinner with the family.
Everyone loved those shades.
I love your Savannah pics! They're beautiful...
