love, serenissima: It's Her, Leighton

This girl just doesn't quit! She's been doing editorial after editorial recently, but these shots from Nylon Magazine and Glamour Espana (she's promoting both Country Strong and upcoming The Roommate) are exceptional. She's always fun and quirky on the red carpet (see here, here, and here), and keeps on trucking with movie roles, endorsement deals, and advertisements despite the media's obvious favoritism of her Gossip Girl co-star Blake Lively. (They are DETERMINED to make that girl a fashion icon. She's gotten the cover of Vogue twice! Karl Lagerfield called her his muse! We get it! Enough, already!) Meester's fictional counterpart Blair Waldorf is my favorite on the show, and she's my favorite actress between the two in real life, as well.

I officially have a girl crush.

No no no, this one here, Ms Meester is the real fashionista. She's so chameleonesque toooo just look at her from the nylon pics (sort of grunge and indie looking) as compared to her pics in glamour espana(reminiscent of blair's upper eastside style)...she intrigues me
