A few weeks ago, I went out with one of my old co-workers, Elizabeth. She happens to live in Brooklyn and near a large amount of bars, so whenever we go out it's usually in her area. So on this particular Friday, one of the last warmer days of September, we walked to a bar right down the street from her house.
Liz... drunk as usual
While hanging out upstairs, someone informed us that they were giving karaoke on the basement level. Now, I love some drunk karaoke, so we headed down there. It was awesome! Most of the people were fall down drunk and belting out Springsteen as if their lives depended on it.
I put my name down for 'Meet Me Halfway' by The Black Eyed Peas, but after waiting over an hour to go, I realized that people were actually PAYING to jump the line and perform! No bueno. We grabbed some beers and headed for the door.

And for once, I didn't drive! It might sound terrible, but I love kicking back with Liz because everything is usually within walking distance or she's the designated driver.

Simple, yet classic
I wore what has officially become my favorite blue button-up and jeans with an orange belt. I threw it on after seriously trying on everything in my closet made me about an hour late, and ended up liking it more than anything else.
