The Cheesecake Factory is a staple in D.C., where I'm from, but here in New York, the semi-formal chain restaraunt is about as common as winning the lottery. I've only heard of one in the entirety of New York City.
But there was one near where I went to school, and last Saturday I had an extreme craving for a piece of strawberry cheesecake after FNO. So what did I do? Took the journey up to the factory of cheese!
My friend needed to go to the mall and return something, so we took a trip to the local mall after we finished stuffing our faces. It was uber-weird being in the mall I used to frequent every day in college, just because I was bored. They did have some great items though; I bought a military jacket in H&M for only $17!
The gray Old Navy jeggings I wore to FNO also made another appearance, worn with a polka dot top picked up there in the H&M sale. I rather like this shirt, as it follows the oversize trend to the letter but still manages to have some kind of shape. I topped it all off with bright pink Chucks for a perfect early Fall outfit.
