While doing my daily Google/Wikipedia search, I came across this amazing LiveJournal that's dedicated to America's Next Top Model. Not only does it detail the lives of contestants post-Tyra, it has a message board with links to current work being done by the models.

I was a firm believer in the ANTM Black Hole, which for seven years and 15 'cycles' has been introducing us to fresh young faces never to be seen or heard from again. So imagine my surprise when I stumbled across this website that showed Fo (Cycle 12) doing H&M ads, Toccarra (Cycle 3) in plus size retailer Evans UK, and Dani (Cycle 6), modelling for JC Penney.

These girls are actually working! Doing runway shows, print spreads, and advertisement campaigns, the whole nine yards, Tyra is actually getting them exposed and launching their careers. It makes me wonder, though, about models like Cycle 1 winner Adrianne Curry, who very publically denounced the show and stated '... we trusted Tyra but we've all been screwed over.'

I mean, she got famous off it, didn't she? And it seems like the other contestants aren't doing so bad, either.
