Blankman, the 1994 precursor to this years Kick-Ass in more ways than one, featured Damon Wayans as Darryl Walker by day and the crime-fighting vigilante Blankman by night. After witnessing the violent death of his grandmother by thugs, the genius Walker invents his Blankman personality after he accidentally creates bulletproof pajamas.
Blankman may not be the most stylish, but Darryl Walker had major threads. He was the epitome of geek chic in pullover sweaters, button-ups, and a ridiculously cool Paddington Bear coat with a plaid lining.

Walker also had a penchant for mixing colors and prints, rocking argyle and other patterned cardigans. He was also never seen without his trademark watch; a huge, chunky contraption created in his lab to tell time and operate as a radio.
His look was also never complete without his mudflap hat, which he even wore to his grandmothers funeral.
Darryl Walker's look is easy to recreate, especially as fall comes around, because it utilizes cold weather essentials: sweaters, button-ups and warm tones like red, browns, and golds. The patterns he favored also evoke the spirit of prep-school uniforms for grown-ups, perfect to adopt in time for September.
