Blame It On My Wild Heart

Perfection.

Oh, man. I die. I DIE. You guys know I'm a sucker for white, black lace, and prairie skirts, so I'm ALL OVER this Wildfox Spring 2012 Lookbook.

The Western trend seen here and here looks like it's showing no signs of stopping or even slowing down, with this most recent spread from Wildfox featuring four lovelies marrying, frolicking, and escaping from jail in the wild, wild West. The artsy, free-spirited label loved by boho fashionistas put it's own spin on what tends to be a masculine concept, dressing the models in both frilly, familiar numbers and darker, more androgynous pieces. Sheer, gothic veils, printed tee shirts, full skirts, and petticoats- petticoats!- are intermixed with trendy star print, feathers, and rodeo hats to tell the tale of How The West Was Worn.

Or something like that.

PS. How reminiscent of Picnic At Hanging Rock by way of Moulin Rouge is this?
