Shakuhachi 'Shoot Me' Pre-Fall 2011

Australian brand Shakuhachi isn't particularly well-known in the States. but it should be, especially with the exquisite Pre-Fall 2011 they've got going on here. Every trend is represented, from white to neon in the color palette, and silky, sheer chiffon to chunky fisherman's knits in the texture department. This isn't the modern, polished collection with mere seventies sensibilities that Rachel Zoe offered, however; this gypsy of a collection is, instead, all about the past. The cuts are loose and slouchy, the colors muted, and each garment seems to be deliberately creased and worn with the ease of items you've have for years. It's instant vintage.
