The bold, colorful Pre-Fall 2014 collection from Givenchy featured a plethora of inspiration for designer Ricardo Tisci: mosaic prints, geometric color-blocking, and warm tones juxtaposed against black and white. There was also an androgynous, tomboy feel to the collection, which featured polo shirts for the first time ever in a Givenchy collection, tailored trousers, and beautifully cut suit jackets. The clean lines are sharp standouts to the fun and interesting color scheme, which was inspired by Africa.
I really love this collection. I'm a sucker for anything sequin, so these sheath dresses are calling my name. I'm also going crazy for printed pants these days, and those geometric prints are sure to be universally flattering.
love, serenissima
