Alexander Wang Spring 2014 RTW
Alexander Wang was true to his minimalist, urban aesthetic with his most recent offerings, which managed to blend simple, refined pieces with both girly and gritty street wear. There were distinctly feminine touches like ruffles, bralette crop tops, and elbow length gloves to offset slouchy, low slung pants, crisp button-up shirts, and oversized jackets; think chic tomboy.
The sexy collection also took clear inspiration from the 90′s, with matching short- and skirt sets, clunky Mary Jane wedges, and argyle cardigan sweaters. A white sweatshirt with sheer panels and a ‘Parental Advisory’ warning stamped across the chest is an incredible piece sure to be a success with young celebrities.
