And On the 8th Day They Barbecued
Labor Day
On Monday, I woke up without any plans, but upon seeing the gorgeous day that marked the official end of summer, I decided I had to do SOMETHING. Fast forward a few hours, and I was on my way to my friends sisters house for an impromptu barbecue.
She lives in a super nice house in the Bronx with a renovated kitchen and huge grill. We bought all kinds of food from the store: shrimp, steak, vegetables. I'm not a fan of steak but I did make my first shish kabobs that day!
We also had corn, roasted peppers, steaks, chips, turkey burgers... it was a lot of food for only six people and an event that we made up at the last minute. The weather was sooo amazing, so I took the opportunity to wear new clothes!

After a couple of hours of stuffing myself, drinking Presidente's and watching a Hoarders marathon (which is a ridiculously insane show, btw. If you don't watch you need to get on that), I had rolled up my pants and was just having a good time with some of my favorite people.
