It's Summertime in the City

Last week I saw the Philharmonic Orchestra in Central Park for free ninety nine... my friend Will is a devout reader of Time Out magazine and invited me to go to the concert with him, his girlfriend, and their friend.

It had rained all day, but stopped by early evening, so the night was perfect: not hot, not muggy, with a cool breeze. There were THOUSANDS of people there.



We spread out a blanket and listened to the orchestra play the music from West Side Story, and it was incredible. To just lay out, looking at the stars, letting my mind wander was something I definitely needed.

I wore shorts, Ralph Lauren sandals, and this pajama top I bought from Old Navy years ago for like $3... it has this awesome bow on the side and a really flowy, easy shape. Perfect for balmy summer nights in the city.
