So my Friday and Saturday nights were both a bust... Friday I forgot my ID like some type of douchebag, and of course I didn't realize it until we were already at the bar.

Saturday was a whirlwhind of activity, and, even though I was supposed to go to this studio/rooftop party, I never quite made it out the house. (My BFF went, though, and made me mad I didn't go. She was there til five in the morning and there was CAKE! Birthday cake! I didn't even know it was a birthday party!)

Ahem.

But Saturday day was GREAT because I saw my friend Will! We've been close friends for about ten years now, and he recently moved to Manhattan. After a million missed connections, we finally linked up for lunch on Saturday.

He told me he needed to buy shorts, so lunch turned into an excursion into Soho where we met up with my BFF and Will's good friend Chris. We were out ALL DAY... by the time I got home I was exhausted... but smiling.

I love Soho, because you never know exactly what you're going to get into there. There is this crazy, eclectic mixing pot of cultures and styles, from all of the boroughs and across the globe, so people watching down here is the best. And everybody knows the shopping is de-voon.

This girl has a great look... very Williamsburg, Brooklyn hipster

I wore this linen dress that I bought on sale in Old Navy for like $13, three summers ago. It came with a drawstring belt that broke after a couple of washes, so I just cinched with an old leather belt of mine that looks about a million times better than the other one. The shoes were brand spanking new sandals that I've had on ice for about a month, that I love LOVE LOVE. Lot's of shoe love recently, hmmm...
