I'm totally clueless about what I'm going to wear for my mothers upcoming nuptials. Florals would be both on trend and appropriate for the occasion, but I'm having trouble finding a dress that isn't either matronly or an inch away from showing my underwear. I'm 5'11, so it would be all too easy for a dress to veer into clubwear on me. Sunday printed cotton dress, $895

Another issue I've been struggling with is what kind of shoes to wear. Towering high heels seem weird for a summer wedding in Savannah, Georgia, but I don't want to be clonking around in a heavy pair of wedges, either. And it doesn't seem right to wear white, so what color shoes do you even pair with pastels?
All the silver ones I've tried on so far looked like I was looking for the prom or the pole. I'd really love to find a nice pair of lace-up wedge booties that I could wear some frilly ankle socks with and a light dress... but the wedding is only a MONTH away! That's what I get for procrastinating.
Is it too late to wear jeans and a tee shirt?
