Absolutely lovely weekend... I had a job interview for a babysitting gig on Saturday, which went really well. I hate my job now. Let me repeat: I. Hate. My. Job. And I love kids, so this new job is kind of a big deal for me. The interview seemed like it went well, so hopefully I should know within the next few weeks if I got it or not. *crosses fingers*
On Sunday I went to my first ever car show! And I loved every minute of it. The weather cooperated again with temperatures in the mid-70's, but I wasn't quite sure of what to wear; do you go rugged? Sporty? I settled on my ass-kicking Doc Martens (thanks, Mom) and a plaid shirt. I also busted out my brand-spanking- new Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, bought on sale from Piperlime.com and charged on my Gap card. Which I will not using again for a long time. Possibly ever. And the entire time that I was getting dressed, that line from Clueless kept playing in my head... 'She could be a FARMER in those clothes!'
There were tons of people at the show, which featured 2011 models of just about any car you could think of. The standouts were the Porsche's (of course), a BMW motorcycle, and a concept car by Lexus called the 'LFA.' There will only be 500 made, coming out next year... 500 EVER. It was insane. And only $14 to get in! Soo worth it.
